Exam frustration

Students sometimes laugh when I tell them I chose my college major because it did not require me to take another math course. Of course, in the fine undergraduate tradition of not thinking too much about what would happen to me more than four or five days in advance, there was the matter of social statistics once I decided to major in political science and attend graduate school. That story I save for another day.

Here are some answers to math problems that could well have been mine at one point. All I can say is that they were not.

Time and space explained:

Determining the female cat:

Find X: Easy enough, eh?

A moment of pure frustration, not eloquently expressed.
